From the Construction Site to Business Coaching

I haven't just studied this industry- construction has been part of my life for as long as I can remember

My father was a builder, and some of my earliest memories of construction are spending school holidays helping him cleaning job sites, washing windows and doing whatever needed to be done.

As I got older, construction became my own career.

I worked for a steel coil company, where I went on to run a steel cutting team of eight. I've worked in the office and out on site, driven trucks and delivered materials, managed people, dealt with the day to day pressures of construction, and helped build my husband's formwork business from the ground up.

I've seen construction from all sides, on the ground, in the office and behind the business.

I know the early starts, the long days and the weekends that disappear into work.

I know the pressure of keeping jobs moving, dealing with problems as they happen, and the feeling that somehow everything lands on your shoulders.

And I know that running a construction business isn't just about being good at your trade.

It's about making decisions, managing people, understanding your numbers, dealing with clients, navigating cash flow, building confidence and somehow keeping everything moving at once.

That's exactly why I became a coach.

After years of building businesses, managing teams and working within the construction industry, I decided to take that experience one step further and undertake professional coaching training through Fempire.

My coaching training gave me the tools and structure to take the experience I had gained over the years and turn it into something I could use to genuinely help other business owners.

Today, I bring those two worlds together, real construction and business experience, backed by professional coaching training.

I help construction business owners step back from the day to day noise, get clear on what's happening in their business and work towards building something stronger, more structured and sustainable.

I'm not here to tell you how to run your business from a textbook.

I'm here because I've been in it.

I understand the pressure. I understand the uncertainty. And I understand the hard work that happens behind the scenes that most people never see.

Sometimes, when you're right in the middle of it all, having someone outside the business to talk things through with, challenge your thinking and help you find a clearer way forward can make all the difference.
